Fooling around with a Tikka T3x 7 Mag, seems to be a shooter. Don't hate the plastic stock, but..
I do like the feel of the stock on the Fierce Edge a LOT, wondering if Manners has one close in feel, fit??
The palm swell on the Fierce, could take it or leave it, so that isn't a huge thing for me.

Is a McMillan not an option? The stocks on the Fierce rifles look very similar to to the McMillan Hunter/Sako 75 Hunter pattern to me.

Because they don't make stocks for tikkas I'm guessing..

EH-4 is my best guess.

I am willing to bet they do. I called them about a new stock for my Sako 85 and they said no problem. I just send them my rifle and they inlet, bed it, then send it back. Easy peasy. So I'm assuming they would do a tikka too.

Been curious about the eh3 for a while, that's one possibility. Looking pretty close at the Sako Hunter. Did talk to my gunsmith about dropping a Tikka in the Fierce stock, definitely doable from that angle.
And gave a Fierce a call to see if they would be interested in doing that, the Tikka and Sako/ Fierce actions being a little different.
They should be getting back to me with some more info in that regard.

So....that inexpensive little Tikka is getting more expensive..
Up in Anchorage for a brake, cause I,m not loving recoil as much as I used to... AND, with a brake, I have a fighting chance at being louder than any mariachi music might be playing at the range..
Ended up on the phone with some sweet talker at McMillan yesterday..and again this morning..
Should have a Sako Hunter in gap transition camo, edge fill, on the way in a few months, prolly in time to put the fear in the Easter Bunny!..
If not, in time for spring one way or another!.

Thanks for the replies, helping me narrow this down a bit, appreciate it!!

I had one, wasn't a fan. Nicely built but I really didn't like how long the grip was. The Manners SL is a little better in that regard without getting as chunky as an EH-2.
