Does anyone have any experience with maddog longbows? Which model do you prefer and why? Looking into getting one and just looking for pros and cons of each. Thanks

A few years back I had the owner repair a delamination on a Bear bow that I had. They did a fine job at a great price. I don't know about the bows they make but based on the work they did for me, they seem solid.

I would just talk to Mike about the different model and your preferences.

Mike donated a Pup longbow (youth bow) to a charity auction that I won for my grandkids. The fit and finish is as nice as most custom adult longbows.

I have a maddog prarie predator 50 at my 29 inch draw. It shoots great and for the money its hard to find a better deal. Great bowyer to deal with and he stands behind his product.

Mike makes a great bow. He's still building bows, but on a limited basis. I had him make a girlfriend a recurve a few years ago and she shot a bullseye at 15 yards on her first shot, lol. I loved that bow and would've used it for late season hunting, but it was pink, black and white. Mike named it the "Pink Nightmare" haha. Get ahold of him, he's a cool guy that makes a terrific bow for the money. Oh, my son's longbow is a Pup.
