I was at Vortex last week. This contract is taking up a bunch of their new facility space, and they're already planning the next building.

This is going to be pretty interesting to see how it unfolds over time. Things like battery life, weight vs. utility, durability, etc. Lots of exciting promises I'd love to see pan out. That cant-adaptive feature and the beaten-zone reticle seem particularly cool.

Do you know if it has the ability to true up a given load at various distances, if you're running a non-standard load/barrel length, different altitudes, etc? IE, tune it to your specific rifle/load/circumstances?

Despite the fact that the M157 production areas are visually screened, we weren't allowed to set foot on the production floor. They don't discuss details, but the platform is impressively flexible. Very clever mechanicals, which I expect to see more of in civilian offerings.

When they announced the award a year ago, just the elimination of scope rings looked like a big win to me.
