Luxe Hexpeak - What are these straps for?

These 2 straps came with my luxe hexpeak xl tipi tent. They are about 10 feet long.

Any idea what they are for?

They may be to help with the first four stake locations. I think mine had a strap like that on either side of door and connect to the two corners opposite the door. So stake the front and then the rear using the strap to judge where the rear stake go. Then center pole goes up.

Some can correct me if that is wrong.

I believe T28w is right. Helps a person set the base width for stakes,
