Lurking for a new Tikka stock

Manners had some LRH in stock the other day when I ordered for a ctr. I really like that stock a lot. I like the rokstok fine but the rings I had on the gun didn't make me love it. My daughter does so I'll leave it alone.

Might look into the Alterra stock. I have 2 and like them.
The rokstock is weird and takes some getting used to, but it actually works. Everyone of the dozen or so people that have shot the my rokstock and Allterra prefers the Allterra.

IMO it’s mainly just how different it is, and what everyone thinks the traditional stock should be.

The mountain tracker LR and the Manners LHR-TK would be worth checking out.

I have the Peak 44 Blacktooth. A lot of money to not be happy. It is smooth so hard to hold with cotton gloves, the recoil pad seems way to hard. I may add some texture some how, and thinking of cutting the recoil pad off.

I was told when I bought I did not need to bed the barrel or lug. I was shooting it only to find out it was moving the lug. They now say to seat the lug and or the rest. I seated the whole thing after wasting 20 rounds trying to get it to shoot.

Have you seen the McMillan Mountain Tracker LR? It’s somewhere between the AG Alpine Hunter and the Rokstock in design. Negative comb, flat toe line and flat forend. I’ve only heard good things from guys that own it.

I love mine thinking of getting another
