Or something like that is attributed to Mark Twain...

I took a bit of a forced break while I was sick and swamped with regular work and keeping up with orders that needed to go out. I thought I was getting better but it boomeranged on me. I think I am back to 100% now.

If I dropped the ball, or you need to hear from me, shoot me a text, I stay on top of them. And, I got through all 50+ DMs today.

My partner and I have been working up a plan for LS Wild and LS Wild Armory for 2026. We'll keep doing what we have been, and try to add some new items and services over the year.

LS Wild is working on a few different items, but we don't ever want to be just another company making the same stuff others are. That's why it took me over a year to finally settle on the suppressor cover design. We are working on a new suppressor cover design for the smaller suppressors. Small diameter covers are impossible to turn inside out, so we are just working out the best way to make a cover. It seems like it will require an external seam, so it won't be as clean as the current one, but it will provide the same mirage mitigation and coverage.

I have a batch of Dixie Zipper "blems" and seconds that I am finishing and will get listed for an LS Wild “Garage Sale”. I think we are going to work on a second blade design, a Nesmuk style blade that is more of a utility blade but still skinning and field dressing friendly.

The LS Garage Sale will be in March and include some discontinued color schemes, blems, and such.

Our next definite sale date will be in May. We may have some quick sales on specific products before then.

LS Wild Armory is officially spun off and is a separate company. It has been a bit of a greased pig to try to wrestle into shape and make sure that we keep on top of deliveries, pre-orders and our "builds".

We are pretty excited to have built up a small inventory of Tikka actions to hopefully match with barrels we are selling. I will have a few nitrided actions with ARC bolt face ready to go in three weeks or so. The bolts are finished, and nitride will be quick. We have one of the best national nitriding services here locally. I also found a local company that has delivered some excellent DLC coating on some bolts. They have a much faster turn around than the service I was referred to.

We are going to eventually go exclusively with nitrided or stainless actions to keep our inventory simple. I am really liking what the nitriding does for the durability and the feel of the action. For the cost, I think it is the single best improvement to a blued action for a relatively insignificant amount of money.

We will be opening up one more pre-orders this year, and give the discounts you like. It won't open until April at the earliest, so I can ship out all the barrels that are currently being made in the December pre-order (expected before the end of March). I don't want to get ahead of myself. We all know how pre-orders can go...

With the actions in inventory, our focus will be trying to keep 16.25" and 18" 22 creed, 6 creed, 22 arc, and 6 arc in stock. We will also try to keep 18" and 20" barrels in stock for 6 NSI/PRC, and probably some 6 UM 30 and 40.

Feel free to ask questions, make suggestions, criticisms, and public complaints on this thread.

Glad to be back among you heathens and leave the land of mostly dead.
