The LS Wild Armory thread

Website is coming soon, still working on it. We are finishing the stupid administration stuff to get the online store set up with credit card processing, banking, etc.

For now, I am taking orders directly from those who contact me, and giving priority to those who have PMed me.

Barrels are $627 shipped. In stock barrels will ship right away. The list is found above. I will be taking pre-orders for 6 PRC barrels and barreled actions soon. Also, 22, 6mm, and 25 Creedmoor.

If you want to buy a barrel, you can ship your Tikka action to us to install the barrel for $50 plus the cost of shipping.

I have right handed Tikka actions, in .223, standard and magnum bolt faces. I have stainless left handed Tikka actions in standard and magnum bolt faces, but not the .223 because they are rarer than hen's teeth.

Barreled actions will ship inside 3 weeks, with in stock barrels. I will create options to order a barrel that is not in stock.

Stainless barreled action will be $1625, first two will be discounted to $1475 plus shipping.

Blued action with stainless barrel will be $1450, first three will be discounted to $1375 plus shipping.

Batches will be going to nitride in the next two weeks, so delivery will be contingent on getting them back.
Nitrided action (blued) with stainless barrel will be $1600, first two discounted to $1475 plus shipping.
A 6 PRC with nitrided action, that sounds flat sexy. Quick math says $1600 beats what I could do it for shopping around.

I'm not supposed to be spending money right now, especially not on things that will make me spend more money.

When you say "first two" does that mean buy two and get a discount or the first two buyers?

I am desperate to get my 6 PRC barrel here and burn it up. I have several types of bullets in the 108-112 class to shoot. And, bought some 106 tap bullets from @eoperator to help with the barrel burning process.

First two or three buyers get the price. (edited it above)

Correct, it would be nigh impossible to beat, especially if you pay sales tax anywhere (no sales tax outside of AZ).

Like everything else we have done, we want to give back so we start with excellent pricing--our marketing plan is to help early adopters keep the money in your pocket rather than a marketing budget.

Don't be too surprised if prices go up, they will. And, even then they will still be excellent prices.

FIRST POST IS UPDATED WITH PRICES:

Barrels are LIVE on the site, ready to order. https://www.lswild.com/store/c16/Prefit_Barrels.html

If you want to have LS Wild Armory spin it on, all you have to do is add the request and send in your action. You can also select to buy an action from LS Wild Armory and we will install the barrel and proof it.

Apologies for a potentially ignorant question….Will the barrels fit a factory contour in the Rokstok?

Met up with @AZ Gator at the range before it got too hot this morning. I spun off the factory barrel and torqued on a 16" 6 Creedmoor barrel that he bought from us. I had started breaking it in and chronoed factory 108 ELDm ammo at 2680 ish. The first few through a barrel start to speed up pretty fast. Experience with the lot of ammo I bought says that it will start pushing 2700 fps.

AZ Gator dropped down behind the rifle, and shot this group with 8 rounds that I loaded up with 105 hybrids. The first shot off alone is the cold bore after torquing the barrel onto his action and into my chassis AND putting my scope on it.

I have for sale in the classifieds a new lefty stainless action with 18” 22 Creedmoor with .120 throat that shot this 5 round group after initial break in with 80 grain ELDm hand loads.

All these 22 creed barrels are shooting like this.

What a sweet barrel, and I can’t thank you enough. I’m really looking forward to putting this rifle through its paces.

They are threaded 5/8. I only have three barrels left.

I may go out and test fire another barrel just for you!

I’m so tempted to send my rifle out to get a 16” 6cm. Are those threaded for 5/8x24?
Of course I’m biased because I just got one, and this is my first non-factory rifle, so I’m pretty excited about it. I just bedded the action into a Peak 44 Bastion. Once the UM Tikka rings get delivered and I get a scope mounted, I predict it will be hard for me to leave this rifle behind anytime I go shooting.
