I guess I got my silencer hot enough to melt the cover to the can. When I got the cover off it ended up being sort of stretched out or the melted material made it so it’s not tight. Now it slips forward and got sort of blown apart a bit from the muzzle brake blast.

Not posting this as a complaint at all, just a heads up, in case you’re shooting a lot. I’ve put about 500 rounds through this in the past five days just practicing for a black bear hunt I’m going on. @hereinaz have you seen this?

Is it that you never, ever make mistakes so any mistake by someone else makes them a liar? Or is it that you are so important that if someone did make a mistake with you, it was a personal slight against you because obviously they did it on purpose because “it’s you”?
It sucks someone forgot about your cover, or something went wrong with it- but your reaction and attitude about it is far over the top. A rational human would have just picked the phone up and called the guy.

I finally got out and used mine yesterday. I shot 80 rounds of 6 creed over the course of 2.5 hours and had no issues. Very happy with this cover.

As for picking up the phone and calling the guy, we’ve been going back and forth on a long PM conversation. Maybe you think that because people sell gun stuff they are above criticism and people have no right to not be happy with them but I don’t agree with that.

And as I already said, it’s not about the cover, I do t even care about it, it’s the fact that I drove 45 miles and spent my money to help the guy out only to be blown off. Sorry for not being super pumped about that.

And maybe the liar comment was a bit harsh but when somebody tells me half a dozen time or more they are going to do something then they don’t I struggle to find another word for that.

This is what I mean- you and I have interacted enough, and you have seen enough from me to know that I am probably the most critical person of BS in the industry- including to people I have relationships with; yet you write this.

You aren’t even trying to have an honest conversation at this point.

I never called him. “POS shit liar”…..I said he lied to me. There is a difference between calling somebody a liar flat out and saying I felt lied to. I believe that even if I’d worded it more gently, you’d still be pissed off. I also provided a lot of background but I can see how it could be missed because it was mixed up in a thread about a different topic.

I agree, it is just a silencer cover, not the end of the world which is why I let it go for so long, I’m not sorry about anything I said, I’m just sorry I derailed a thread, there were probably better places to post it.

You are way more wound up about this than me at this point though, but you don’t get to decide how or when other people speak based on your own morals or ethics or whatever you want to call them.


As for the “I’ll just buy from someone else”, why bother with that? Businesses hear that crap all the time and they either don’t care or figure it’s an idol threat. Besides, they make folk good stuff, I just might buy from them again, I just wouldn’t get involved in any personal deals moving forward.

I guess it’s a sign of the times though when somebody can dick you around and you’re the bad guy for calling it out.

Well 2 or 3 of those months are spring (ish) so endless opportunities to look for nice spring brown bears and chase caribou along the coast.

Some people don’t like the snow, I can’t stand the desert in the summer. I don’t even visit my parents anymore because they always want me to come in the summer it’s just too hot down south.

Great covers for me. So far around 750-1000 rounds split between 2 and no issues. Hell, I am relying on 1 to keep my Scythe together. .

It is over and done. He was justified to be frustrated and that’s it. I get it. He vented.

Lesson learned on my part. I kept trying to get it done for him, but it was a comedy of errors. I believe we shipped two. I know I personally made and shipped the last one that shows label created.

Yeah, there are straight out liars out there. Sometimes it’s something someone needs a little grace.

Add me to the group who needs some grace. I have been around enough to know what that means. There’s usually a reason when good people fail. When we launched the suppressor cover my dad was on hospice, I started a new day job and after a month he passed. Then there was the funeral and all that crap.

No excuses, I did a crap job keeping up with some things. It’s on me.

Everyone has a crap day, and that’s why everyone gets some grace from me. Especially on the internet.
