Great Story man! I enjoyed listening. I have been very interested in learning how to shoot farther. This gives a good platform to start off with. Thank you. My effective range right now is only 500 consistently. I have never tried shooting 1k yards for fun but I want to badly. I guess I need a new scope to start with.

I’d say my effective is still about 500.
I’d like to shoot longer range more often. The hard part is finding a place that I can see for 1000 yards and shoot. It’s a minimum 1 hr drive. So I have to set aside time. But... it’s a ton of fun!! And surprisingly easy with a good scope.

Which Spartan Precision Javelin Model where you using? The Lite, The Pro, or the Pro Hunt Tac?
I think the latter two have extendable leg options.
