If you have less free bore than a saami chamber then the bullet will be seated deeper in the case and velocity would actually be reduced.
Did you actually throat it out .050 beyond saami?
Sorry I'm confused the way you are describing it

Nope it doesn’t, do some research. Dave Tooley recommended the reamer and chambered my barrel. Couldn’t be happier and I am getting much better velocity than those with the longer free bore.

I would take a serious look at the ABLRs. I think a bonded bullet is a good compromise between an all copper and cup & core type bullet. The Bergers will likely have great accuracy but after seeing their performance on two bulls this year I would try to work up a load with a bonded bullet. I know this is designed for a longer range rig, the Bergers would probably perform fine at distance but if you're presented a closer shot they tend to break up.
