LR-3 2 Mile camera issue

I got an LR-3 camera. I'm having issues with the newer Longshot app. It has about a 30 second lag time on image and video playback from the camera to the device. Tested on a Motorola 8.0 android phone and Hoozo android 10.0 tablet. It worked fine on a Kyocera 9.0 android phone. ??? I sent the unit back to Longshot and they said it's fine. Their statement that it works on any device is false. They want to sell me the tablet they use for $250. I'm willing to buy another tablet but, not for $250.
Has anyone experienced this problem? They said nobody has that they know of. I asked for specific requirements as far as hardware on the device and was told it shouldn't matter on newer operating systems. Thanks for any info.
