I have had a KUIU Pro harness for a few years and have mostly enjoyed it. However, I’ve noticed recently that it can be loud at times, seemingly more often when it is warmer (like 60°+. It’s not a high pitched squeak but a lower pitch kind of that crunchy sound kind of like some packs make when they are heavy. When it is making the noise, it does it every time I breathe in, even calm, shallow breaths.
I thought it was the rangefinder ouch connection, but after removing that the noise continued. It seems to be the actual structural material of the bunk case.
Has anyone else had this experience? I bought it used so can’t turn in for warranty, and I don’t super want to get into buying a whole new system from Kuiu or anyone else, especially if this is going to happen again with a new KUIU harness eventually.
