Lotsa meat!

You're gonna want to spread that stash out accross 2-4 freezers. If one of the four were to go bad you're not out much, but it would suck to lose all that meat if your one big freezer took a sh*t.
 
i used to rent locker space when i killed an elk. i know it is a dying practice but you could call around and see if freezer space is available. it is still possible to find lockers in ohio but i have never heard of any in arkansas. they were reasonable in price a long time ago.
 
Anybody recommend a freezer that will fit a pig, 1/2 steer, 2 elk and 2 mule deer?

A rule of thumb is one cubic foot of freezer space for
each 35-40 pounds of cut and wrapped meat. Allow slightly
more space when the meat is packaged in odd shape

My chest freezer that is about 5 or 6 feet wide is holding a pig and the remnants of 1/2 an elk.

I hAd a freezer go bad that was stuffed with fish boar and deer. I now have three separate freezers that we space our meat and fish in. We also only buy a quarter cow at a time now so we don't run into that issue anymore
