I lost my bone saw on a recent hunt while packing out my elk, fell out of the backpack side pocket it was in. The saw was an Outdoor Edge Griz-saw and while it was light and small it also didn't have a big enough handle to really saw with. My hands got worn out quickly while trying to grip it when in use.

I'm now looking for another saw and wanted to know...What do you use and why do you like it?

I've looked around and can't find a clear winner. Either it's too heavy, flimsy, too short or has a small handle.

I need suggestions.

I just use the same saw you lost on elk deer and bear. I really like it but I am re-learning to process using the torpedo/no-gut method. Take a look at that option. You won't need a saw.

I have used the Wyoming Saw and Idaho saw. I like the Wyoming saw better but the Idaho packs better.

I like my Sawvivor, but it appears they don't make them anymore. Might take some work to find one, guess I'm going to have to be careful with mine.
