Looking to get a factory what should I get

I have the Range XP in 7PRC and it's a shooter. Scheel's has them on sale right now for $1K. It's an affordable setup that has some nice features. Otherwise Tikka is a solid option.
yea they have adjust cheek piece from what I understand it’s a “stiller” action but it’s not , the range sf I saw has the heavier barrel I want vertical grip threaded barrel and it’s 780 so I mean it’s that or a Remington sps tactical or even a Howa I don’t have a lot of money so I don’t have the extra to get a chassis or do a barrel swap ect

I saw a Christensen arms mesa fft 6.5 prc for 849.99 but I have heard most bad things about that any one confirm this .
Go watch the BackFireTV youtube channel shooting the christensen rifles. they seem to suck pretty bad.

Don't fight the tikka recommendations... its honestly the best factory rifle you can get especially in that price point. they have incredible triggers, the smoothest actions and pretty damn accurate across the board.

if you have a CAL Ranch in your area check what they have. they have the best prices ive seen on them and it will leave you plenty for some ammo.

“Just buy a tikka and then spend another $2k putting it in a new stock and rebarreling it.” Tikka’s are over rated.
theres zero need to do either of those things. tikkas have one of the stiffest factory stocks ive seen. its way more rigid than my wifes weatherby 307 that costs more than a tikka. and if you rebarrel a tikka you're wasting money. their factory barrels are one of the reasons people buy a tikka.

I'm guessing you've not owned a tikka and you're just looking to stir the pot. they are amazing rifles and anyone who says otherwise is just a hater for the sake of hating.

I have owned several Tikkas and several Sakos. I also have several christensens that shoot sub moa 10 shot groups. All coming from personal experience here bud.

so you admit they are a good accurate rifle while also trashing them.

no cult follower here either. but the OP is looking for a consistent shooting quality rifle that is around the $1K price point. a tikka fits that bill amazingly so to discredit the rifle is just stirring the pot knowing its a favorite rifle of this forum. For good reason too i might add "bud"
