Looking into a muzzle-brake end cap for my AB Raptor.

Hello, all!

This is my first post in here, and I need some advice.

I have a PRS-style rifle chambered in .300WinMag (see photo). The Raptor 10 on it is dedicated and has the 5" reflex on it. I love the suppression I get, and also the mitigated recoil....but I sometimes have trouble spotting impacts for myself between 400 and 700 yds....the recoil doesn't always settle down enough before the bullet makes impact.

Anyways, I see that a few companies make buzzle brake end caps for the Raptor. Does anyone have experience with one or more of them? Or are any of them known for being good/bad at anything in particular?

So far I'm seeing the:
Salmon River Solutions AB Raptor brake
Zero Drift Precision 2 port
Recoil X

Are any of them known to have:
-Good/bad POI shift?
-Better/Worse recoil reduction?
-Little/A lot of dust kicking up when prone?
-Noticable increase in sound compared to the AB end cap?
-Is there one I missed that I should be looking at?

Also, any thoughts overall with shooting brake-d suppressors? I've literally never done it.

Thanks for everyone who's read this, let me know any information or knowledge you have? I'm hoping to make the most informed decision I can before spending money on it.

Thanks for your time!

yes, they work. Only one's ive owned is the recoil X gen 1. The gen 2 is more aggressive/effective at muzzle rise and recoil reduction but it is very biased against muzzle rise and with 70+ grains of powder it might have a little much downward pressure. Then again, a 10 stack might slow the gasses enough that its not bad?

The end cap brakes reduce recoil more when paired with smaller cans that dont slow down the gasses as much but I'm sure they'd be a noticeable difference on your gun still.

Look up the outdoor life suppressor recoil test results to compare the SRS vs the Rx brakes. I'm not familiar with zero drift precision.
