Yes, you can put a chair in there if you rearrange a bit. Unless my memory is off I seem to remember someone on here having two people in chairs....maybe it was those air mattress chairs.

We have been in Steve's (Stid's) sawtooth with four of us around the stove in chairs, Steve and his wife in the taller style that get you up off the ground and Luke and I in thermarest trekker chairs. It's a little tight, but certainly doable if you can roll or move bedding out of the way.

My guess is it's about the size of a 20* (850) down sleeping bag fully compressed, but I would love to see a picture myself.

I hope this is what you needed to see. Notice I'm squeezing the tent . I did that to show that it's not packed hard and will conform somewhat to the things around it in the pack.

Like Shrek said it is definitely able to be compressed more.
Slim the "major" difference is the poles for the Sawtooth, otherwise your only looking at an inch or two size wise packed.
