Looking for input on ELD-X bullet performance (w/ field pics)

I've shot them in my PRC and Creed for the last few years. Creed was a first this year. They're not a bonded or mono bullet. They're super soft and explosive. Which for deer and antelope isn't a bad thing. They go in and cause a ton of damage. From 90-725 it seems to do really well.

I shoot the Hornady factory 143gr 6.5 creedmoor rounds out of a Fieldcraft. Work great, no complaints.

If I'm blacktail hunting in areas where I know any shot will be under 300 yards (usually WAY under) I carry the Barnes 127 LRX's instead because they don't make as much of a mess.

6mm Creedmoor,103 gr. eld-x . Took 6 hogs and red sheep and axis. The bullet works to good for me. Lots of meat lose from the hydrostatic shock on the sheep and axis. Both lung shots blew up ribs and part of front shoulder (bloodshot). Pigs were head shot no worries there. Will get pic's next trip. Switching to eld-m.

Entrance side of my mule deer. Shooting a 6.5 PRC with factory 143 eld-x. 256 yds.

My wife’s deer look about the same with at 187 yards. Both deer were lung shot, mine clipped the heart. Exits on both. Neither deer went more than 5 feet and died.

that seems like alot of blood shot.
I've never had it that bad on a animal with 178gr eldx, even with 2 shots.

80 yds or so. 2700 fps out of a 300 WSM. 212 eldx. Hit the thickest part of the scapula at the junction with the humerus. Stay off of the shoulder. Didn’t take a step.

Me too. I sold the rifle. I like eating game meat. I had to cut a lot off of both deer. I would lose even more meat on an elk.

Stop shooting the part you eat and shoot the part that makes them go to sleep. Shoulder and neck shots are a thing of the past when bullets sucked.
No exit and a 30 cal hole only
How far did it go?

Went about 18” sideways in the direction of the bullet travel vector.

We get a lot of rain in November and it’s incredibly thick country - think Canadian forest. I want them anchored. But I will stay off of the shoulder from now on.
