My grandpa had a .270 Wyb built back in the early 60s. After many years of heavy use I was lucky enough to inherit that gun. The barrel was totally shot and I figured it was worth rebuilding. So now that it’s finished I have the old barrel laying around. I’d like to do something with it. I was thinking I could maybe have some rings made for my dad and I. Any other ideas ?

No way to recondition the barrel? Never really thought about it as I don’t rifle hunt and rarely shoot, but could a barrel maker fix the rifling or open it up to a slightly larger caliber?

JES might be able to bore it out and rechamber it.
