Hi, I need some more adjustment on my .300 Win Mag Kimber 8400, I have 2 piece Warne Rail. I have seen but never tired the Weaver extended rings, I am open to suggestions, I need to move scope back a little bit.

Thanks

Not seeing what you are trying to do I’d guess that a one piece rail would offer the most adjustability for and aft.

I need to slide the scope back a hair more, If I use the one piece then makes it harder to load, I was told to look into extended rings that will allow me to slide the scope back while keeping the 2 piece rail.

Extended scope rings were popular in the past. The advent of everything going picatinny has really faded them out, because of the lateral movement available on the rails. As far as I know, weaver only makes them in 1" and in the quad-lock rings. Anything else you're going to find is going to be designed for an AR, and it'll probably be higher and longer than you want, unless you're running a big objective on the scope.

Your best bet for long term use is either run a one-piece rail, get a longer scope that has more lateral movement in the rings, or a scope with longer eye relief.... or a combination of these.

If your rifle has a one inch thick recoil pad, another option is to put a 1/2" thick pad on it to get better position.
