Looking for a good grain scale for archery

I've used an OMP accu scale the last 2-3 years. I like it, no issues, depending on where you buy it from you may need to get your calibrated weight for it separately.

Thanks for the replies. Going to buy the "el cheapo " that mighty mouse listed. 24000 reviews can't be wrong....If that thing has lasted 10 years should be good to go.

I use the same scale I have for reloading- the Dillon D-Terminator. I like that it can be calibrated.

To keep the arrow on the scale I took a piece of foam left over from a rifle case and used a large diameter bolt that I heated with a blow torch to melt a groove in the foam.

Does anyone have a fix for weighing an arrow and finding it weighs differently depending on balance point? Usually I can move it back and forth around the balance point and get different weights, even when the ends aren’t touching the table. Usually I take the highest weight.

I have a plastic v-block (cradle) that I use for weighing arrows. It made my scale measurements repeatable. I'm not sure where I got mine but, it is similar to the on in the link below. If you have or know someone with a 3-d printer or you could make one out of wood (fine grain) with a table saw. Also, I tape mine down to the scale to secure it.

A cradle of some sort centered on the scale should help you get more accurate/consistent weights. I use a scrap piece of foam with a v-shaped groove cut in the top. Remember to tare your scale with the cradle in place to remove the weight of the cradle from your measurement.

Borrowed these pieces from the kid's Lego stash
