I have a plastic v-block (cradle) that I use for weighing arrows. It made my scale measurements repeatable. I'm not sure where I got mine but, it is similar to the on in the link below. If you have or know someone with a 3-d printer or you could make one out of wood (fine grain) with a table saw. Also, I tape mine down to the scale to secure it.Does anyone have a fix for weighing an arrow and finding it weighs differently depending on balance point? Usually I can move it back and forth around the balance point and get different weights, even when the ends aren’t touching the table. Usually I take the highest weight.
A cradle of some sort centered on the scale should help you get more accurate/consistent weights. I use a scrap piece of foam with a v-shaped groove cut in the top. Remember to tare your scale with the cradle in place to remove the weight of the cradle from your measurement.Does anyone have a fix for weighing an arrow and finding it weighs differently depending on balance point?
