Good evening roksliders,
short version first, can a HNT folder stock be converted to fixed by bolting off the folder and bolting on the fixed stock?
Long version- looking for a fixed stock HNT26 left handed SA tikka inlet. the only left handed tikka inlet I can find in Australia is the folding stock model which is illegal in my state. Emailed MDT who have advised that the configuration I am looking for is available, but the Australian importer is not interested in ordering one for me. I have a friend with a fixed stock that had lost the buttpad and was replaced under warranty, if I could bolt it up to a folder chassis I would be legal!
Im sure someone here can shoot me straight if this is possible.
if there is a solution that I'm not seeing I would be grateful to hear any advice or suggestions.
