Longest beard I have ever seen in person

This is the longest beard I have ever seen in person. If you were to guess how long do you think this is? Believe it or not I’m going to try and let my young son shoot this for his first kill ever.
Which honestly not sure if that’s a good idea or not considering he will probably never kill a better bird but who knows, it may just set the bar high! Basically trying to estimate the length on it. I think the record in California is like 15.2 inches.

I got a picture of his spur, and it looks to be a good 1.5 to 2 inches its huge looking. Out of about 50-60 birds this was by far the boss tom, looked the oldest etc. No telling how old he is but he looked OLD to me.

There is a huge difference between the number of birds with a 1.5” spur and the number of birds with a 2” spur.

Yeah the picture was not clear on conclusive enough to say one way or the other. I might go through the video again tonight as I obsess over it.
