Hey if any of you guys are wanting to make an impact for long-term mule deer conservation in Wyoming, you can add your input without ever leaving the comfort of your keyboard during public comment on the Upper Wind River Mule Deer Corridor. These are the deer that migrate down for that silly good late Dubois tag.
Identifying the corridor, like they're asking to do formally, is like the first step in unlocking more funding for highway crossings projects (which the price keeps going up on) and prioritizes future habitat projects, etc.
We've done some fence removals in the Lava Mountain burn under the high-use arm of the map, so that's cool to see that it was in the right places.
