Yes brand new and probably 80 rounds through it so farUnder 1 MOA out of a factory rifle and and shooting factory ammo? If you want the factory ammo route looks like you got a nice combo going. I would stick with the Precision Hunter 200 grain... Is your rifle brand new? Get 200 rounds through it and I bet the group tightens even more!!
Bought 60 rds of Berger so maybe in a few years I will hahaGive the Precision Hunter more time... I recently purchased an XBolt in 6.5 Creedmoor for a sheep hunt. I normally reload but wanted to go the factory route for this rig to start. I've been using the Precision Hunter 143 ELDX... Initial groups were about MOA, maybe a hair more. 300 shots later and I have .75ish all day long. I've been pinging steel out to 850 very consistently.. Pretty happy with the setup.
Anyone had luck with the Berger 215 on a Sako with 11 twist or is a 180gr about maxed out?
Dont even think twice about a 215 Bergers terminal performance. Its the killingest bullet I have ever seen and we have taken dozen and dozens of elk from 100 yards to 1200 with them.
When you say chickened out.. are we reaching the ammos max capability and safety?I run the 215 in my 300WSM. I also tried them in my 11 twist Brux 300WM and while they shot well on initial testing, I chickened out and went with the 210 hunting VLD.

Would you recommend using the 215 gr on 300 WSM as a Long range option?
