Long handled spoon

Polished bowl is the way. Also invest in one of the Hyperlite pouches and transfer your freeze dried meals to freezer ziplocs. Saves weight, less deep bag to contend with and meals pack much smaller
This is my preferred method (except I skip the hyperlite and use my jacket). If you drop the bag in the pot and roll the top down over the edge it makes it easier to eat out of.

Be aware, per @FAAFO this means I'm weak (or something like that). I'm fine with being weak, but figure others should know just in case they need to keep their man card. I hear the card keeps one safe in bear country and makes sheep offer themselves to you, but I wouldn't know. :geek:

I think those microplastics in your brain from saving weight are starting to show in your posts 🤣

Wait, I have a brain? That is so nice of you to say, but I'm pretty sure it is just a couple bits of gravel up there, thankfully sound doesn't travel in a vacuum, so no one hears it.

I picked whatever titanium spoon was cheapest on Amazon at the time, and it did not have the polished bowl. After using it for a while, the polished bowl would definitely be better.

A spoon is too much weight. I just put a little more water in the MH. You can never have too much water in the woods.
Just bring a block of tallow, great calorie density, and easy to eat with your fingers. Save even more weight not needing a stove. Plus, people keep telling me it is good for you (I don't believe people, but, just saying).

I have this one. It's fine. They're just spoons - all the brands are pretty similar. The only thing I recommend is getting one with a polished bowl/end. They clean more easily and "feel" better when you use them.
