Glad to see they made it into a movie for those who would never hear the story otherwise. I read it a couple years ago. Must read type of book. Crazy what these guys go through and most people never have a clue.

Agreed, a few of the soldiers I trained went on to be tier 1 guys, even as joes there was something about those guys...

It was the first one I've been to where people got up and applauded at the end instead of just walking out.

Have not seen the movie yet, as a veteran I am VERY pro-vet to say the least. You guys need to check out the fox news website. Megan Fox interviewed one of only 3 living medal of honor winners about some of the absolute bull s#it the media is starting to circulate about this being a "propaganda" film for war. There is a clip from an interview with Marcus and some liberal media doosh-bag that is interesting.

Buddy is shipping out in the morning for basic and he's got a SEAL contract as well... Was tough to say goodbye but very proud of him as well.

Read this book a year ago and I can't wait to see the movie. Heard nothing but good things about it!

Can't wait to see it this weekend. Most of us will never really know what our soldiers go thru during war. Giving your life is the ultimate sacrifice but a lot these guys return home a completely different person. I can't thank all our soldiers enough for their sacrifice.

Thanks for the tip on the book. I bought it and couldn't put it down. One of the best books I've ever read. Plan on seeing the movie.

I am truly grateful those who have sacrificed for our freedoms and may God continue to bless those who fight against threats to those freedoms.
