Load data for 77 TMK in 223

23.5 grains on XBR gives me 2765 fps out of my 18 inch Tikka.

For those using the 73 eldm for practice are you using the same load data from the 77tmk and just pressing the 73 in?

Man, I wish I had sourced H4895 sooner after struggling with the so-called magic unicorn dust 8208 XBR...

Tikka with 22" barrel and OCL Poloium 556
Starline brass, Fed 205M primers, 2.32 COAL, 77gr TMKs, 24.0gr H4895, 2 thou neck tension
No pressure signs (maybe slight ejector mark every so often)
~2860 fps

For practice I use Varget under the 73 ELDM. Cheaper and shoots a little more accurately.

73 ELDM over 23.5 of varget - 2682fps
77 TMK over 23.5 of XBR - 2757fps

Anyone have some more info on Tac?

Using fed 205m, Hornady brass, 2.26. Hoping for 2800-2850 tikka barrel.

Just tried 23.5, 24, 24.2, and 24.5 of tac pushing 75 berger vld's. Fed 205 primer. 24 did the best at just under 1/2", opened up slightly with 24.2, and 24.5 was scattered about 2". 2.42 coal. Velocity was 2835 so good on speed too. Gonna shoot some varmits and see if I like them or tmk's or eldm's in my tikka ranahan.
