I’m calling it done on this rifle. It took 20+ coats and around 40-45 hours of work.

I built it for my son as an early grad present so he can take it after antelope and maybe a deer this fall, and a rifle that stays in the family for life. He graduates next spring but is off to Texas on a college baseball scholarship and will have to head out right after HS graduation to play in a summer league down there, so this fall will be his last opportunity to hunt for a few years.

6.5 PRC Tikka with 1 peice aluminum High Desert trigger guard, bedded into an English Walnut stock, Leupold BC ring mounts, Zeiss conquest 3-9x40 z600 reticle. Flush fit magazine. Weighs 8 pounds 6oz…Giving it another 2-3 weeks to fully dry/cure then we will take it out and shoot it.

Beautiful piece of wood right there!
Also, why am I instantly suspicious of anyone who has a work bench or countertop that clean? lol.
