Anyone use or have any input on lightweight wool pants?

I've used these Filson wool pants for years, but they're too heavy to justify wearing when there's not a ton of snow. Looking for a lighter wool pant that I can hike in comfortably when it's below freezing.

I've checked out the First Lite Obsidian's, but they seem to have durability issues.

The Obsidians have durability issues because they are lightweight wool pants. I don't think you are going to find a super durable wool pant in the lightweight category.

That's kind of what I was figuring based on what I could find on Google.

Thanks!

army surplus is where I get my light wt wool. the only problem is finding green instead of black or blue.
they do hold up fine, however.

If you like your Filson pants, try their whipcords. They’re a lighter weight wool.
