And speaking of lightweight------for you all who count ounces, what do you use for a weigh scale? I use my trigger pull scale for some weighing but I'd like to get a pan type scale.

Thanks ahead of time for any info.

Postal scale here, I bought it from Amazon.com for $25-$30.
Weighs up to 50lbs and down to 1/10th of an ounce.
Good tool to have.

Digital scale from STAPLES. It weighs up to 10 pounds, and down to tenths of ounces. Think I paid 50-60 bucks. I say it is a must have for "getting light". Pelouze is the brand, and I may have butchered that spelling as I am too lazy to walk downstairs at the moment. Works really well.

I bought one from my local farm store. They have canning products. It has tare weight, which allows me to put bulky items (EX Sleeping Bag) into a container and get an accurate weight. I think it was $20 and it can measure up to 8 pounds. (I also have a small scale to weigh my archery equipment, think powder scale)
