I'm looking for a lightweight, waterproof hiking boot for turkey hunting. I won't be toting a heavy pack while using these boots. I need to be able to walk quietly in the woods with these boots, as well.

What have y'all used that would fit my needs? What would you recommend? Thanks

The good news is with that criteria there's tons of options, just depends on what fits your foot well. Here are a few I've used and liked:
Asolo Fugitive
La Sportiva Trango (more of a light mountaineering boot)
Merrell Moab GTX
Salewa... cant remember the model

All work well. The Asolo's have more rigid soles and work great for tough terrain. The Merrells are more flexible and are fairly light... and mine have held up well from the Middle East to the canyons of Zion. For being sneaky those would probably be my choice.

salomon X ultra trek gtx are a great boot. One of mine did start leaking but you have a year to get it replaced.

For turkey, I wear rubber Lacrosse boots. Depending on where you hunt them, but I hunt Easterns in the Midwest mainly. So maybe some hills, but nothing crazy and guess what....it's always wet an soggy in the mornings so I still wear knee-high rubber, uninsulated. Also cuts down a small bit on ticks because they can't crawl right up my pant legs.

I got a pair of the Muck Edgewaters I am going to try this spring. I hunt the edges of some marshes and a lot of low spots. I normally wear my Danner Pronghorns if I am ridge running.

KUIU and Scarpa have a new boot coming out that weighs 2.2 pounds TOTAL. Worth a look for sure.
