Lightweight rafts for backpacking

So I’m in the hunt for a packable raft to use for summer fishing/scouting trips in Utah and Colorado. I’ve looked at alpaca & the uncharted inflatables which I’m not opposed to buying but I’m having a hard time spending $500+ on something I know I’ll only be using 2-4 times a summer. If I knew I could plan on using it 4-6 times year after year plus an Alaskan trip I wouldn’t bother asking; I’d be buying an Alpaca Caribou lol.

Basically I’m looking for a packable raft that is sub 8lbs and around the $300 range, am I looking for a unicorn or is there a less expensive option that would work? And if so what has been your experiences? Thanks in advance!

are you a veteran? If so there are a couple discounts available. If not check the boater boards like tgr and the like. Their classifies will routinely have used packrafts available. Most boaters are pretty honest about what they’re selling and little pinhole repairs are easy.
