Lightweight bipod options

So the current mdt backcountry is defective?

I like the idea of using a bag on the pack. It after having a bipod last year it was handy just as a way to set the rifle down out of the moon dust.

Yeah I ran into this in AZ last year. Nothing is soft so without a bipod you scratch the piss out of your gun and/or make a ton of noise setting it down

What parts and how light? Iv got a triple pull on the shelf that needs something or it will continue to not get used
It’s about 17oz. Taller than a triple pull. Slightly slower to extend the legs. Faster to collapse the legs. Quieter to extend the legs.

What about the rugged outdoors?

Kid won't shoot without tripod. Maybe getting her a bipod and some range time could help save some weight.

I had a gen I rugged ridge bipod. It was light, but I didn't care for the ball head. I don't like bipods that have the pan feature.

MDT mountain

So have maybe 50-60rds shot off this thing so far and I like it.

Sold a gunwerks, legs froze up on me last year in the middle of trying to build a position to shoot, Kinda lame. Also I like arca, I don’t like running pic on my arca and my bipod being stuck in one spot.
