Looking for opinions on best lightweight custom actions, prefer to stay in a 700 footprint. Thanks in advance
I love mechanical ejectors!Kelbly Nanook is my personal favorite. I have a bat vampire as well but prefer the feel of the kelbly and the mechanical ejector.
Really like the Vampire too!! Kinda feel like it’s kinda a rem 700 footprint due to the flat bottom. requires different inletting.Kelbly Nanook is my personal favorite. I have a bat vampire as well but prefer the feel of the kelbly and the mechanical ejector.
Went down this rabbit hole a while ago myself. Defiance antix is nice and light, but pricey. The defiance classic is also pretty light and more affordable. The Terminus apollo lite ti I checked out was nice, but not what I'd call lightweight at 26 oz. Pierce and Pure precision both make some light actions, haven't had the chance to try one yet. A buddy of mine recently had a rifle built on a pierce and he speaks very highly of it. I've got a falkor lw7 on order, they're 19.6 oz in a short action (plus bases). I had the opportunity to handle a long action falkor and was impressed enough to give one a try (although I don't think I'll have it built up in time for sheep season).Looking for opinions on best lightweight custom actions, prefer to stay in a 700 footprint.
