Lighter bullets for less recoil in 6.5CM

Hey there,

I apologize for no updates. I ended up getting a killer deal on a closeout 243 Tikka and couldn’t resist so I bought one late this summer, which I killed an elk with in October. I ended up using my trusty 223 to take an antelope as well. I didn’t end up using the 6.5 on anything this year and may actually sell it as I just like the 243 better as a hunting rifle (helps that it’s a shorter barrel so more handy).

If you or anyone else has an interest in the 107’s, send me a PM, I have about 400 of them and I’ll make you a good deal as I likely won’t use them now.
All good - don’t blame you at all. Still definitely tempted to go with the 107s, but it would be nice to see some more terminal performance results before I commit to them for hunting - can’t seem to be able to find many. Seems like they’d be fun to shoot though so may take you up on that regardless.

I agree they are fun to shoot and the recoil reduction is very noticeable compared to the 130 TMK or anything heavier. They were also quite accurate in my gun. I’d have zero reservations using them for deer sized game but it would be nice to know how well they penetrate before using them on something larger like elk. Most of the kills I could find were deer and hogs with a 6.5 grendel, but they seem to be fine for that application.
