Thank you for the shout out Russ. I hate to self promote it out myself out there,but sometimes things get slow in the shop....... Sometimes.
I received his goat April 30th ,I molded and casted and painted his horns for his life-size goat and he had his skull mount on the side. So the horns are reproduction on the mount. And he had his mount delivered and hung up on May 20th . Less than one month later. Tanned,mounted ,dried ,painted and basework. No nonsense no BS just hard persistent work .
For the future goat hunters make sure when you get it salted and fleshed split turned very well and don't feel funky about "checking over the shoulder " of the taxidermists work that's doing it. A lot of times if the Taxidermist in Canada doesn't get the work they get sloppy or care free and it leads to issues later on. You spend a lot of money on the mount and the hunt. Double and triple check everything.
Goats can easily get slippage,so keep the skin dry and cold.
