Lifelong dreams do come true!!

One of my dreams had always been to pack up and escape to the mountains and hang for a spell. Had the opportunity to do so last October. Packed up and headed to the Owyhee country in Idaho for a month. Lived in a canvas tent, deer hunted a bit, coyote trapped a bit, ,cooked a bit, drank a bit of whiskey and lived life like I wanted for the entire month.. Only downside is now I'm ready to do so full time!! LOL.. Few pics and videos.

How does one go about posting videos? i've some saved on Vimeo, but have not figured the process out as of yet..

Copy the link address of your Vimeo video. On the toolbar in the Reply box click on the middle 3 dots then click on the Insert Media icon which is the double square display looking icon. Paste your link. Click Continue. EZ!

That sounds awesome. Congratulations on making that dream come true. Longest I’ve been able to do is a week, but loved every minute of it. I’ve got a few years to go before I will be able to do longer trips like that as I still “owe my soul to the company store”. Would love to hear more about how you did it. Thanks. -Rufus

I made it out very close to where the debacle happened. Man that piece of country is a long way from anywhere. Caught a coyote out there and called him Claude. Have him being tanned for a wall hanger.
