Lefties of the world unite! You can now have nice things that go boom just like our RH friends.

Selling a semi-custom 280 AI. All work was done by Tumbleweeds Custom Rifles in Austin TX.

-Action is a new commercial large ring Mauser action by Zastava. It is the same action as the Interarms Mark X and the Remington 783. The action face has been squared and the lugs have been lapped. Chamber was cut with a SAAMI reamer.
-Barrel is a K&P (http://www.kandpgunco.com/) 1:9 twist, 5R, #3 contour, stainless. It has been fluted 6 straight. Barrel is threaded 5/8x24 with a blended cap. 24" finished length.
-I kept the factory safety and trigger and had the smith give it a trigger job to approx 3 lbs. I had contemplated replacing them both but smith was a competitive shooter and advised I should keep them and the trigger turned out great.
-Barrel and action cerakoted sniper gray
-I didn't want to wait on MacMillan so its bedded in a Boyd's stock

I think that's most of the relevant stats...feel free to ask if I've forgotten something.
I'm onto a new project and have a couple rifles in this caliber so this one is going to a new home.

I'm into this build for about $2300. Selling new and unfired aside from test round by the smith for $1750 $1500 net to me. I'll take care of my FFL, you take care of yours.

Happy to send pics or answer questions.

Yeah sorry...was in the woods on one last scouting mission. The photo in question came out flipped on my phone and in my haste I just flipped it in a photo editor. Apologies for the angst.

I don't have a 10 lb meat scale, mine only goes to five but on a digital bathroom scale with different accompanying kettlebells, the rifle consistently adds 7.6 lbs. An enterprising fella could likely lose about a half pound off that stock with some careful time spent with a paddle bit.
