Leupold Warranty Repairs

Has anyone recently dealt with Leupold warranty service? I understand with older scopes, they seldom repair the scope and simply send out a new one. I have an older Vari X iii that needs an internal cleaning and I don't want a new scope. It's been years since I sent one back.

Call their customer service line. They usually answer their phone and they are always helpful answering any questions you have.

I have sent a number of Leupolds back over the years, but none recently. The scopes were always promptly repaired and returned.

It’s been mixed for me depending on what they are doing, recoating lens I get back the original, something serious I got a replacement
