Anyone have hands on experience with the gen2 yet?

Just sent mine back to Leupold today. The turret markings were not tracking correctly. Sometimes .5 MOA change on the turret would move my group 4 inches or more at 200 yards.

They seem to be a touch heavier and the main tube was confirmed changed. I heard from one of the engineers at a show that they "looked to the Mark5" in the redesign. I'm guessing that if they did increase the durability, the marketing and warranty team had a lengthy debate on if it was worth it to advertise, since replacement Gen 1s will be swapped to Gen 2 parts, and it would be cheaper to let it go quiet rather than a have a bunch of guys who, without knowing they have a prior less durable product, "discover" out the new components are more durable and en masse send their stuff in for the warranty replacement.

That, or the new field turret is a new lip gloss on the same pig. Who knows. I am rooting for them to make it happen.

I'd look and see if you could get a Mark 4 used honestly. Seems much more rugged
