I'm finally looking to say goodbye to my trusty VX-2 as I want to move to FFP/Mils.
This is the version that came out before the Freedom line.

It has the CDS dial but I never redeemed the coupon. I believe I have the box and the CDS card (will confirm).
I remounted it last season and it looked clean. It has held zero well and has given me nothing but solid performance.
Glass is in good shape but for full disclosure, there is a small blotch visible near the edge of view when the scope is below 3-4x. I only noticed it last year and since I rarely have the scope below 4x, it didn't bother me. And, I didn't want to bother sending it into Leupold as it didn't effect function in any way.
It is currently sitting in Warne Mt Tech rings (I can't remember if they are medium or lows) and are torqued to spec with clear nail polish.
