Leupold SX-4 85mm vs SX-5 Santiam 85mm

Does anyone have some insight on this? is the SX-5 worth the 800 dollar difference? TIA

Increase in FOV (10-15’ or so more at low and high end on the SX-5) and the SX-5 is also 10 oz lighter. “Professional Optical System” on SX-5 vs “Elite Optical System” on the SX-4, which is Leupold’s top tier glass and optical design.

You’ll have to be the one to decide if the cost difference is worth it, if these upgrades add value to your usage. All I can say after having compared both, albeit just at a Sportsman’s store, was the FOV and optical quality increase on the SX-5 was immediately noticeable.
