Leupold/Steiner 15x56?

Looking at the Leupold BX-5 santium for just over 1000$ and the Steiner HX. at 1200$

The Steiner would be my max budget, anyone have a pair of either one?

I think the Steiner are on sale @Camera Land for under 1k

I don't have either one but Euro Optic has the leupolds at quite a discount and a carbon fiber tripod rebate from Leupold as well.

I haven’t used the 15xs but I had a pair of HXs in 10x they were not too spectacular. Bought a pair of leupolds and they are the brightest I’ve looked through.

Does anyone have any more info/opinions on these two or how these compare to Maven C4 and Athlon Cronus?
