Leupold Customer Service crazy good

Bought a Leupold VARIX III in 2001, I slipped last year on a steep decline and dented the scope and couldn't adjust the POI reliably, so I sent it back to Leupold, told them it was my fault.....they couldn't fix it, so they offered to send me the latest generation Leupold VX-3i, and throw in the CDS dial for free, and they were as nice as they could be about it. Wow, when they say lifetime warranty, they mean it, and they don't quibble a bit.

I had the same thing happen to me except it was on a scope that my dad gave me. He bought it in 1978. They offered me a brand new VX3 and since the one I sent in offered side focus, were willing to customize that on it for free, I told them to throw in the CDS and call it a day. Excellent customer service.

I had an old Moutaineer scope that u sent to then earlier this year and they promptly sent me a new VXIII to replace it.
