Leupold Carbon Fiber Tripod Info

Anybody try out the Leupold cf tripod setup yet? I saw one in a store and thought it looked decent but looking for some first hand experience. At 449 price seems pretty high unless the quality is top notch. Thanks

Just from looking at pictures it looks to me like a Leupold branded Slik 733, or something very similar. $449 for the tripod and the pan head (if it’s a quality on head) isn’t far off from a package deal from Sirui or Manfrotto for a similar tripod.

Bringing this back from the dead, curious if anyone has tried this set up. Like the head design... and 40oz complete isn’t a bad weight

That leupold head looks like a relabeled Benro S2. A Sirui Va-5 head sitting on Slik 634 legs would be a better set up for less $.
