Hey all - does anyone have experience with this bino? I have an opportunity to purchase a demo unit (brand new in box) for $170. I know the Vortex Diamondback is it's direct competitor in the Cabelas store. This is my first bino purchase for an elk hunt I'm going on next month. I'm assuming this should be adequate?

@ChevyKevy I had a pair a few years ago. They were an older set I had bought off the classifieds. They were great glass and at the time that's what I could afford. I ended up "upgrading" to the Diamondback 10x50's and using those for a year. Then bought the razors in 10x42. I felt that the the 10x42 diamonbacks were a little better than the BX-2 and the 10x50's seemed to me to have better resolution and justified the change. It all comes down to how you hunt. See if they will let you go outside and look through both sets of binos and see which your eyes like better.
