Does anyone have an opinion based on experience with Leupold Bionoculars? I really like their rifle scopes and figured may be I'd look at their binos as well. This is a new one, Leupold BX-4 McKinley HD Binoculars that looks interesting. Thanks in advace, this site and it's members have a wealth of knowledge.

I used the Mojaves for 4 years and they worked great, I would still have them if they didn't get stolen last year. For the money they are great.

I had a pair of the Mojaves sent to me as a replacement for a pair I sent in for warranty. I was really disappointed in these binos. My previous pair were a much better pair. The edge clarity was really lacking. The diopter adjustment knob would always pop up and I would end up getting my binos way out of focus. Wasn't real happy with the eye cups either. I will say I was pleased with their warranty. Id of just liked my other pair back! haha

I now have a pair of Vortex Viper HDs. For a couple hundred bucks more they are ten times the glass as my Mojaves were.

I have had a pair of Gold Ring 9x25 waterproof binos for 25 yrs....they have been to hell and back and still going strong. They dont get as much use these days as they did, as I acquired a pair of 10x42 Leicas. I believe you will have good luck with Leupold Binos.

Have had a pair of Wind River 10x42 for probably 15 years. They have never failed and the glass is still as clear as the day I got them. For the price a great pair of binos. Replaced them with Swaro's a couple years ago and they became my "pickup" binos. Have been bouncing around in my truck and still no issues. I wouldn't hesitate to get another pair.
