Can anyone give me a real-world comparison of the two? I already have the Leupold that is a year old and barely been used. Is it a huge downgrade in quality to go from that to the Vortex. I would like to go Razor, but don't use it enough to justify the upgrade. I already have Swaro Binos that I use 95% of the time and I really don't need to have $1200+ tied up in a scope for the remaining 5% of the time I need something. Keep what I have and be happy or ditch the Leup and make a change for the sake of change. GIF?

I have the same scope as you. You are falling victim to the GIF and it will cost you $$$ in the end.

Thank you for the reassurance. I'm sure if my wife knew I was looking at a different spotter, she would thank you too. For as little as I use it, I think I'll keep it & get some use out of it for now.

I have the Leupold and a Razor 85. I've had the Leupold for for at least 15 years and really like it because of the eye relief and the 12x on the low end (I wear glasses). No other spotter I've looked thru comes close in eye relief. Most of the time I'm using the Razor at 40x or less because of heat waves anyway. The big difference comes when digiscoping. The Razor is much better and easier to use. And of course when weather permits the 60x is great.
